Our toddler hates getting his hair cut but at least he is sleeping a little better. We have had a handful nights now where he only woke up at 1 am but otherwise slept from 8pm till 5am. We are still waiting for that magical first night of not waking up at all.
His words are becoming a lot clearer and he is slowly getting s sounds but his big brother sounds more like "vivi".
He loves his loud music, just like his daddy and he got dance moves, too! Much to the enjoyment of us all.
It is so lovely to see him give goodnight-hugs to his brother and daddy every night. He's such a big boy.
We had the chance to see the big boy play in his Christmas nativity story. It was quite a modern, but humorous interpretation and the children did so well.
I was very touched by the efforts of the big boy on remembrance day and the pictures he drew, including a sea of red, in line with the poppies at the tower of London.
As every Christmas we all made biscuits together. What a mess, but what a joy! the boys loved their chocolate advent calendars, even though the little one had problems with the concept of only being allowed one piece a day. All together they decorated the xmas tree and for the first time in several years the tree looked quite alright and not too lopsided.
Unfortunately mama sprained her left ankle and ended up on crutches for a few days, but nothing to worry about. The boys loved kidnapping them for joint play. Otherwise we have been full of bugs and coughs but all slowly getting better again.
