It has been some time since we updated this blog, but things have been difficult. However, one of the rays of sunshine that keep you going is the love you have for and receive from your family and another is watching Sivi grow up.
He's going to preschool now and just this week has figured out how to blend his phonics together to read 3-letter words. What a proud moment for dad and mum. Parent's evening also pointed out that he's very bright.
He's enjoying his Judo lessons now especially the randori/jyuwaza, and last even week even found the courage to reply "I don't know" to the teacher. During the class he loves showing his ukemi and practicing with the other kids.
He's also enjoying his swimming lessons and is slowly getting the co-ordination right. It never lacked him in confidence but he's now at a stage where he's getting the hang of it. And last time swimming he did some forwards crawling without any floatation aids. Another proud parent moment.
I appreciate the time we have together, laughing and learning from each other. I hope that the new year will bring some better times so we can worry a little less and concentrate more on the real important joyful things.
