Spring Joys....

It's been a rough start to the new year and only now is there calm to update this blog. It's part of the little man's heritage, so it's important for me to continue here.

Spring has started in Surrey and it is lovely to spend the day outside with the little one. He was very busy today cutting the grass.

We'll try and do something nice together tomorrow.

Our little miracle boy knows how to recognize certain words, i.e his name or Mama, Papa, Omi. He writes letters by arranging his cars, he knows to count in all three languages till at least up to 30. It's such a privilege to be by his side and experience him growing up.

He is  also enjoying his arts and crafts and he painted below giraffe for his Papa's birthday!

 

He loves riding his bike and his scooter and is generally running everywhere.

It's not ideal that Mama has to travel at times, but I am hoping this is a temporary situation that will shortly improve.


We had a fabulous Easter, with an Easter egg hunt in the rainy back garden.

It was sooo funny how the little big man walked past the sweets without spotting them, nor seeing the massive chocolate bunny at the side of the shed. :-) Mama and Papa have helped though, so no chocolates went missing. We also went on an Easter egg chase in the Claremont Landscape Gardens, and we found them all but one. The little man got his face painted too... as a dark blue dinosaur. :-) He loved it.


We will soon find out which primary school the little one will be going to. We hope that whereever he gets sent to he will settle quickly and be encouraged to continue his learning.
