It's been way too late since I have last updated the blog. In the last 3 months the boys the boys have grown so much and are giving us lots of joy and strength.
Mummy is working hard and holding the fort at home, while daddy is off to new challenges supporting us from afar. We are all hoping that this is a temporary situation only and we are all soon together again.
We spent the xmas holidays in Germany and what a joy it was to spend time with my sister, her partner and most importantly my beautiful nephew! It was lovely to also see the rest of the family, just a shame it was so short. We love you! My big gratitude also goes to my sister for allowing me to rest and recover from the pressure of the last few months.
It was fine to get the boys to the Tierpark in Friedrichsfelde. I loved seeing the baby rhinoceros, but our boys preferred the porcupines and elephants.
Our big boy is now in level 4 at the swimming class that means he's now swimming in the deep pool. Actually he is ready to move on to the next level too, but they don't have spaces yet for him. He is enjoying school in year 3 and learning all about villains & heroes at the moment. He made a little poster about William Wallace. He is still on medication but it's helping him immensely and he is much happier himself too.
The little one is still a mummy's boy and loves his xuxa at night, which probably also contributes to the fact that at nearly 2 years 8 months of age he is still not sleeping well at night. No wonder mummy is stressed. He is still a very talkative boy but unfortunately he still doesn't have a lot of words. He understands all 3 languages fine is making himself understood successfully, but with very little words. Obviously we all expected a delay in the language development, but he is definitely taking his time. I may just get the advice from the health visitors once we have a moment to breathe.
Oh, mummy is wearing her first set of proper glasses. I need them now for working at the computer.
I am very grateful to our two childminders for taking care of the boys while I am working. They are making a fab job in enriching their minds and experiences.
At the weekends we all go to football training on Saturdays at 9.30 till 11am and most Sundays, the big boy has a match with his team. We try and do some nice stuff together in the afternoons, but sometimes the food shopping or household things mean we stay at home and maybe do some arts and crafts or watch a movie together.
I will need to sort some pictures to upload here... but until then we wish you lots of love!
