Our nanny joined us since Mama returned to work on the 12th. The big boy absolutely adores her and the baby tolerates her. ;-) It will become easier for all involved.
The baby had an appointment at the dietician again and they were happy with his progress and put him on a "milk ladder" where he is exposed to increasingly further uncooked cow's milk. Well, he used all steps on the ladder without reaction. So I think it is safe to say that the baby no longer has a reaction to cow's milk. Wohoo! Fabulous news!
The baby also started baby swimming, which he enjoys with either daddy or the nanny.
He took his first 2 unaided steps on 17/05. He is now starting to speak a lot more and we have: "ciao ciao, bye bye, tote, mama, papa". It's bringing smiles to all of our faces. Of course, it also was his first birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You love your new big fire engine and the bath toys! You also started Hi5ing on your birthday. It's a game, that you adore.
Your big brother reached an important milestone himself, when he lost his first tooth in the bathtub on 15/05. Oh, but he cried when it came out as he was so shocked as to what happened. But not long and excitement took over and he was proud to put the tooth under his pillow. And indeed the next morning, the tooth fairy had left £1, which was promptly invested in an icecream. :-)
And to finish the month, the baby suddenly was brave enough to start walking! He took 17 steps on 29/05/2014! He still prefers to crawl, but we have a toddler now! Our baby has grown up!
