His big brother had a chance to show us his school's nativity play. He was a shepherd and delivered his line perfectly: "Another day caring for the sheep. Always the same thing."
The big boy wrote all his school's Christmas cards himself. He made his mummy very happy because in the last two years I had to do all of them and I was dreading it for this year. Wohoo! Result!
The little one is now 7 months old and can sit all on his own. He was crawling backwards a little but this has stopped and he hasn't quite figured it out how to go forwards. Still not rolling, so we are not expecting anything fast.
We are loving his vocal expressions, proper echolalia. DADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADADA!
We had a few rough nights at the end of the month with him which however resulted in his first tooth erupting on the 30th!
It's good to have daddy back home to help and to enjoy our time with. Especially when the baby just wants his mama and doesn't want to be separated at all.
Sleeping has improved a little overall. He will sometimes sleep 4-6hrs if he is sharing his bed with me. But this does not always work. Hopefully we will make some more progress in the New Year.
Oh, and on the problem of the cow's milk and soy bean allergy, yes, that is still the case. I had a bean salad and ate the soy beans by mistake. That resulted in a screaming baby the next night. Booh! Poor little tummy.
