The big boy (please replace with his name while reading this in your mind! :-) ) has started Year 1 in school and we are now right in the middle of homework and learning. Touch wood, he is enjoying it so far. He has made huge progress reading and he is now enjoying it lots wanting to find out more about the story and not wanting to stop reading. Also, he's much more confident reading in German and Portuguese too. It's brilliant!
This week he has had his first go at the school's arts and crafts club on a Wednesday. I hope he continues to enjoy it.
On top of school he's really loving his swimming lessons. We had to change Judo school though, so he now gets a chance to try out a different class and he has already made a new friend. He has been really asking to play football for a team. So, Mama finally managed to get him enrolled and this Saturday he will start.
Daddy had a big surprise for him too and he's now the proud owner of a new proper bike!
The little boy (mentally insert name here...) is now 4 months and going through a horrible sleeping phase. I know it will pass but I am struggling.
We are starting him on food now and he loves his fruits. Not so sure on veggies or rice though, so we will keep exposing him to those.
Jabs are finished too... for now at least till he is 1 year old. He's now losing all his hair. Not much longer and he will be bald again.
We found out that we may need to vacate our rented house earlier than anticipated, so come January probably I better get a grip and find us a new place to live in.
Papa is spending his last few hours with us before returning to Lda. :-( We hope that he will be able to return as fast as he can. It's awful without you. We need you as you give us so much strength! You are in our thoughts.
