The little is suffering from a tummy bug just now, which he caught at preschool nursery. Oh the joys, but he's keeping well. Then the week before we all got a winter bug with fever and cough... so it's the season of illness again.
Sivi has been at nursery school since the end of September and he's really enjoying it. I think it's the mixture of new toys and arts and crafts which are giving him delight.
We had visitors at home and a few more chances for the little one to practice his German with my family. It's given me the reassurance that he is learning his languages properly and speaks age appropriate. We have since also had the same confirmation about his Portuguese levels, so this is very good news for us and looks like we are doing something right.
The little one is a very active boy and loves to run around and discover and try out things himself. Favourite toys are cars, Knete - playdough, picture books and cars. He loves cooking with Mama and washing the car with Papa.
Sivi is very confident in his counting and is now starting to recognize some letters. He knows how to spell his name, which causes arguments, as I spell it in German, but he spells it in English lettering/pronounciation. :-)I need to keep updating this blog a little more often, but in between loving and taking care of my family, work and study there seems little time, even more so when you catch winter bugs. booh.

Sorry we couldn't come over the other day, but "aufgehoben ist nicht aufgeschoben" - car should be back from the garage today, so mid November. I'll be in touch.
