Growing Up & Learning Heaps

Well, the little man has become very confident and is happily trying things on his own.

He can put on his his trousers & shoes. We have stopped with the nighttime bottles... which also has helped his sleeping through the night.

He loves "The Gruffallo" so we got a Portuguese version "O Grufalao" and Omi is getting him the German "Der Grueffelo".

He speaks German to his Mama and Portuguese to his Dad. He's fluent in all three languages, according to his age; speaking in full sentences. He understands very complex requests.

Toilet training is brilliant... a couple of accidents a day but nothing the washing machine can't cope with.

He loves running long distances with daddy... especially chasing the football.

He cleans the table after having a meal, putting the dishes in the kitchen and wiping the top.

He loves bathtime and swimming lessons and is really confident in the water.

He reads the bus numbers.

He eats like a champion - and some favourite items of food include: olives, onions, capers ...

AND...

he knows how to put CARS in the DVD player and get the movie to start.
