it's been way too long since updating the little one's blog. There are a number of reasons which lead to this delay.
Mama has been ill, stressed and our camera has given up... twice. :-(
But so much has happened.
The little one really found his feet. He's walking everywhere, running is the preferred method, even if that means to take some scratches and bruises into account.
He's really understanding what we are saying too. Today he has pointed for the first time ever to the correct picture in the picture book, when I asked him:
Wo ist die Katze? - Where is the cat?
Wo ist der Ball? - Where is the ball?
Interestingly he uses the Portuguese word for cat still, but a mixture of German and English for ball.
Today he also figured out how to climb onto the couch without any help. Getting big the little one. Even more important to watch him properly.
Nursery is still going fine and we are getting lots of lovely pictures he draws for us. He even made us some biscuits at nursery.
Poor little one though, had another burst ear drum due to an ear infection. Hopefully this will be the last one. He came out in a rash today though and I am not looking forward to what else is on its way. Hopefully it's just a delayed reaction to the MMR Vaccine.
The little one's favourite word at the moment is "nao" - no. Hehe, and he uses it very well and in context.
Sleeping is still rubbish and he has most nights at least one bottle of very diluted milk. It can only get better.

I'm sorry your camera has not been reliable. Bum. But,fun to hear the update on your little guy. He sure is learning a lot these days. I hope that his sick troubles are over soon, so that he can enjoy his mama and daddy to the fullest. :)
